Back on the Road

Oliver Marchant
Some of you who met me at the first Gathering in Tilford may remember me bringing my Red Costello LLP265K on a trailer.  Well, after 21 years laid-up and now a complete re-build my 1972 Costello was today taxed (for free) and put back on the road.  I even managed to get insurance which at just turned 21 last month was a challenge.

Fingers crossed, and subject to snagging, I will take it to next month's Goodwood Revival and send some photographs.

I could not have completed the car without the friendship and enthusiasm of Peter Stabb at the Millbridge MG Garage, Frensham, Surrey (01252 793905) - nearby Tilford.  He has now built up a terrific knowledge of the Costello quirks and I would not hesitate to recommend him for any repairs others might need if in the area.

Congratulations, I hope you get to Goodwood, I wish I was bringing mine along too but it will have to wait a little longer.

Paula.
