Header Tank

Hallo Costello Friends,

I ask me why our Costellos have a header tank between radiator and the inlet manifold?Why Ken Costello did this?A normal MGB GT V8 has not a header tank but an expansion tank on the inner wing.

Hi Mike,

Did you get an answer to your question?

It was likely due to the height of the coolant outlet from the implanted V8 engine in relation to the height of how the radiator sat.
